Today was my first day as a bible worker and the first thing i knew i had to do was GET CONTACTS. I claimed promises as i was out in the field, such as 2 Tim. 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." As the day was to soon to end I met a lady who was not interested at all in what I had to say. I changed the conversation to make friends and as a result she opened up completely. Through "friendgalism" she trusted me enough to tell me about the problems she had. Her sister got a peace above the storm and I was able to pray with the family. She signed up for Bible studies and when i asked, "when can i come next week?" she replied without hesitating, "why until next week??" She was ready to start the Bible study sooner! Praise the Lord for the great work thats happening in the city of Mentone and Redlands.
